Missions
The people of Diamond Hill support the United Methodist Church's joint campaign with the Gates Foundation to Imagine NO Malaria.
We are happy to announce that the people of Diamond Hill have chosen to enter another covenantal relationship. This time with a mission project in our conference - Caring Hands Soup Kitchen in Kingston, NY and operated by the good folks of Clinton Ave UMC. We have committed to 3 years of support with prayer and pocketbook. We are happy to be partners with a dynamic and inclusive project like Caring Hands.
On Sat. Oct. 5, 2013, we sponsored the annual Chili Cook-Off fund raiser for our local food pantry. This year we raised $664, and thanks to the generosity of one person, the amount is now $764. Our thanks to all who participated, in particular, Carol W. for spearheading the event.
On Saturday June 9, 2012 eight members of DHUMC joined together to put their hands to the work of God by assisting our local food pantry (Neighbor2Neighbor) in their good work. May God continue to bless all those who use and serve the pantry.

Outreach
Expressing the love of Christ in outreach and service. . .
As the prayer goes, 'Christ has no hands but yours, no feet but yours, no eyes but yours.' So Diamond Hill is active in its community, expressing the love of Christ in outreach and service.
Community Involvement
Diamond Hill strives to be a church that is relevant and involved with its community. As a part of this commitment, volunteers at Diamond Hill regularly provide sandwiches and nonperishable food items to Covenant House, a local soup kitchen. The church also periodically puts on a dinner with entertainment for the people of Quarry Knoll, a low-income housing facility for the elderly and disabled in Greenwich.
Diamond Hill also provides free and low-cost meeting space to recovery and support groups, including Alcoholics Anonymous and the Greenwich AIDS Alliance HIV Support Group.
Finally, Diamond Hill is proud to be the charter organization for one of the oldest Boy Scout troops in the nation, Greenwich Troop 10.
Affordable Housing
In 1983, members of Diamond Hill formed the Diamond Hill Community Services Corporation to manage the charitable use of several housing units on Diamond Hill's grounds. Through this corporation, Diamond Hill has provided and managed affordable housing to low and moderate income families in the nation's most expensive housing market.
The people of Diamond Hill support the United Methodist Church's joint campaign with the Gates Foundation to Imagine NO Malaria.
